Not quite the start to the day we planned having been turned away by the vets after they made a mistake checking his passport – despite me challenging their call ๐๐ฑ
On our way home and a call from my own vet assuring me that all the vaccinations were in order prompted us to turn back and ask for the passport to be checked again – Yes an error had been made and a costly 2 1/2 hours later, a somewhat agitated, dripping wet with sweat Kings Grey was permitted entry.
With barely time to plait up and no warm up this amazing horse formerly trained by Philip Kirby Racing made his debut through those purple curtains and although unsettled in the line up he went beautifully for both myself and the ride judge with a pull of 4th – given the circumstances – Proud doesn’t come close ๐๐๐พ๐
